Our review
Sora sets the bar for prompt-to-video. In our tests it produced the most temporally stable clips — objects keep their shape as they move, and camera language (dolly, pan, orbit) is honored surprisingly well.
It is strongest on cinematic, real-world scenes: landscapes, people, and product shots that need believable lighting and depth. Stylised or heavily text-based scenes are weaker, and it still struggles with precise hands and on-screen typography.
Access is bundled with a ChatGPT plan, which makes it easy to try but harder to scale for teams that render in bulk. For agencies producing hero shots and concept films, it is currently the model to beat.
